John has a keen understanding of what it takes to capture and hold the attention of audiences via innovative technology and digital marketing strategy, including web, mobile, e-publishing and social media.

As the Managing Director of CGM Interactive, he oversees all aspects of the firm's client engagements - helping clients better understand their business needs and leading teams to develop ROI-focused solutions.

Prior to CGM, John was Director of Electronic Media & Communications for the American Dental Association. There he reinvented the Association's strategic vision and operations, including: infrastructure, brand, publishing, and supporting tactics. These efforts positioned the ADA as a leading online healthcare source.

Prior to joining the ADA, John was a Vice President at Lipman Hearne, the nation's largest not-for-profit-focused communications firm - overseeing efforts for leading universities and non-profits.

Earlier in his career he served as Associate Director of Marketing at DePaul University, overseeing digital marketing and student data collection systems. His first experience was at advertising agencies in Los Angeles and Chicago, where he developed award-winning marketing programs for Disney, Marconi, Owens Corning, Saturn, General Motors, and Trek Bicycle.

He holds a B.A. in Journalism from the UW-Madison and a MS in Information Systems from DePaul. He serves on the Boards of the University Club of Chicago and Pullman Educational Foundation.
