David Riggs

David is an internationally awarded online developer and technology specialist who has played a key role in positioning Australian brands as leaders in their online fields.

Leveraging a decade of prior IT experience, in 1999 his first website for Jacob's Creek was a feature case study by Adobe/Macromedia and heralded by AdAsia as "The best on the Internet that we have seen". David went on to position Jacob's Creek at the top of Google in fiercely competitive areas and roll out several internationally acclaimed online projects for this client.

In 2009 another of David's projects, the "Power of Voting" website for Electoral Commission SA, was acclaimed locally and internationally, including garnering the highest honours in the US Interactive Media Awards as a "Top 10 Website of the Year". Following from his award successes, in 2012 David was invited to the international judging panel for the IMA Awards.

David brings a unique sensitivity and innovation to the user experience. He believes companies must go beyond mastery of new technologies so they are free to rethink how people feel and how effectively they interact with a brand online.

David is the managing director for Riggs Digital and a director of Select Counsellors, a company reshaping the mental health industry online. Time permitting, he is also an inspiring and sought after lecturer and speaker in the digital and online space.
